Voted best Riesling at the Ballarat Wine Show this ripper is ready for you to drink now. Andrew and Katrina have been making wine for many years now with this vintage highlighting the pairs capabilities. “Our Grampians Riesling has a good balance of fruit and acidity and is of excellent quality”. In a region predominantly known for Shiraz this Riesling at hand is an astonishing white with a “Crisp, balanced and delicate palate of the typical Grampians citrus flavours with hints of honey, passionfruit and white peach are followed by a fine, persistent finish”. I was lucky enough to hand over the trophy to Andrew on the night of the awards and it was truly delightful hearing the roar of the crowd when I read out Miners Ridge. Katrina has added… “This is one of our best yet! A drier styled Riesling that is young and fresh but with a hint of acid so you can either enjoy it now or it will cellar well for many years. It made us pretty proud last year winning us 4 trophies from 2 wine shows and receiving 95points from James Halliday”.
