The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Best's is deep magenta with a bright purple hue. Typical aromas of cassis and blackcurrant are intertwined with woody notes of thyme, nutmeg and fresh tobacco leaf.

Rich briary fruit flavours flow with the fine geometry of supple tannins and balancing acidity to give a long finish.

This youthful wine is a great expression of the variety in Great Western. It is possible to enjoy this wine now with food, but it will soften and gain complexity over the next 5- 20 years. It is the perfect accompaniment to a seared fillet steak with mushroom sauce.
